It’s Summer!

Summer is knocking at the door.  Now is the time to update your accessories for the season.  The warm sunny days demand that many of the accessories you choose to completing your look also provide protection from UV rays.  Not to worry, sun protection and accessorizing can go hand in hand. You can be stylish and protected at the same time.  Some of the trendiest summer fashions are designed for double duty, and some are just plain cute.

When you think summer accessory, start at the top.  The top of your head that is.  Hats are always in style. Straw hats, baseball caps, sun visors, and this year’s trendiest buy...the bucket hat.  There is a hat for every outfit and occasion.

Now...With sun protection taken care of.  Ladies time to think arm. What you carry on your arm, to be more specific.  A gorgeous structured handbag can make an outfit stand out.  Handbags come in all shapes and sizes.  From the small, cross body bag, to large tote bags.  Whatever size you choose, be sure to look for structure.  Match the structure of the bag to the occasion and your outfit.  Go with the boxy leather and big, for day to evening.  Choose small, plastic and see through for weekend hang out, or a cross body sleek straw bag, for a night out with the girls.

Let us not forget the bling.  Summer is the perfect time to show off your glitz and glamor, starting with a great time piece.  Find that special watch that shows off your style.  Whether it’s whimsical, nautical, or sportsman for the outdoorsy and active.  A watch is cool, but now is the time to sexy up your sexier parts like your neck, wrist and ankles.  Jeweled adornments are the perfect accents to any summer attire.  When selecting your summer jewelry, the same rules apply.  Match your necklace, bracelet or anklet to your look and occasion.  Follow this logic whenever accessorizing and you can’t go wrong.
